Frequently asked questions
How can I invite Rudra Sharan Mishra for a satsang, katha or pravachan?
Use the contact page and choose “Satsang or event invitation”. Include the occasion, city and venue, your preferred dates, the expected audience and a phone number, so the details can be discussed with you directly.
How far in advance should we get in touch?
As early as you can. Festival seasons and weekends fill up first, so writing a few weeks ahead gives the best chance of your preferred date.
In which languages are the discourses given?
Satsang and discourses are given mainly in Hindi, with English used wherever it helps the audience. Sanskrit verses are always explained in simple language.
What kind of events can he speak at?
Family satsang at home, temple and community gatherings, festivals, spiritual retreats, schools and colleges, as well as podcasts, interviews and public talks on Sanatan Dharma and modern life.
Can I ask for personal spiritual guidance?
Yes. Choose “Spiritual guidance” on the contact page and share as much or as little as you are comfortable with. Every message is read personally and kept confidential.
Is there a fee for satsang or guidance?
Arrangements differ depending on the event, the travel involved and its format, so they are discussed individually. Please mention your requirements when you write.
What do organisers need to arrange?
Usually a clean, peaceful space with seating for the audience, a raised asan for the speaker, and a microphone and speakers for larger gatherings. Any specific needs are shared when the booking is confirmed.
I am new to spirituality. Where should I start?
Start small: read one verse a day on the Teachings page, and try a single mala of naam jap each morning with the Naam Jap counter. Consistency matters far more than quantity.
